The daily practice of yoga is Kiki's steady support along the path of life; guiding and helping her with the many challenges life can bring. Her passion for yoga and art evolves from a deep personal practice to sharing the joys and magic of art making and yoga with large groups of people. She loves watching people come to a quiet place and light up when practicing art or yoga.
Kiki started practicing Kundalini Yoga in 2010. In 2014 she started teaching yoga and opened Sun Studio. My story of self-exploration began with an experience of profound silence during meditation at 11 years of age. During that period of silence and being without guidance I panicked and never returned to that peaceful spot but always held a sense of there being more to life than what I was experiencing.
Fast-forward 40 years (2009) when I progressed to a facilitator level for teaching teachers and children a way to connect to and maintain a connection with their hearts.
I have augmented that learning with journeys using sacred plant medicine as well as completion of 200hr (Veracruz, Mex) & 300hr (Rishikesh, India) yoga teacher training as well as Om Circles and sound baths.
HATHA, YIN & FLOW TEACHER
Nomadic by nature and inspired by movement, Meghan unintentionally found the practice of yoga in 2011. After a year of intense practice, she sought to deepen her knowledge and understanding of yoga by completing her 200hr YTT with Shakti Mhi at Prana Yoga Teacher’s College in Vancouver.
Meghan's teaching style integrates the physical, emotional, energetic and spiritual aspects of the practice allowing students to find stillness through a moving meditation.
She considers yoga, poetry for the body and invites you to come and explore the depths of your Self through breath and shape making.
Molly first came across hatha yoga at her hometown's Lions Hall when she was fifteen years old, and has been a consistent practitioner ever since. In 2018 she decided to dive deeper into yogic philosophy and practice and completed her 200hr YTT with Jay Suttonbrown at Manipura Yoga College at Sun Studio, Haida Gwaii.
A firm believer that the practice of yoga is as much about our actions off the mat as it is on the mat, Molly seeks to integrate her passion for social and ecological responsibility with accessible sequences and meditation.
A Marine Planner by profession, Molly likes to spend her free time building her dream house with her partner, gardening, knitting, cooking, cycling, and scheming about her next adventure.
