Each month Sun Studio offers a new Creative Circle of Light
This Creative Circle is intended to bring Playful and Mindful Creativity While creating a sense of Connection and Community. Each month a different colour bag will reveal a new creative project, Which you can explore at home. The 12 Sustainable Art Kits around the Altar of Light are put together and created By Krupa Jhaveri from Sankalpa Art Journeys and her team at Sankalpam in Auroville, India. Some of you may remember Krupa. In June 2019 she visited Haida Gwaii and offered a Sacred Self Care Retreat at Sun Studio. Krupa developed these Sustainable Art Kits as part of her Integral Expressive Arts Therapy. |

For the creation of these art kits, Krupa works with local artisans in India.
Being part of the Creative Circle of Light supports these local artisans as well as your own creative process. Sankalpa is a powerful Sanskrit word meaning intention, affirmation, resolution, determination and willpower. |
JANUARY CREATIVE CIRCLE OF LIGHT: SINCERITY WISH DOLLS

This Month we create ritual and invite creativity with the help of a Sincerity Wish Doll.
These Sincerity Wish Dolls are brought to you in their innocence and in their purity, which they will always contain, just like you. They are a blank canvas. They invite you to create from the purity of your heart. They invite you to play with the Light, with colours. You can work with the fabrics provided and sew and dress your Wish Doll, you can sew with the sequins and beads, or paint the doll, allow your imagination to run wild. Each doll is part of the January Altar of Light at Sun Studio for 14 days, from the New Moon to the Full Moon. This allows them to be infused with the energies and light that we have been weaving with since the New Moon. I invite you to adopt a Wish Doll and explore how it's Light wishes to be expressed. You can work with the Doll for as long as you wish. There is no rush. Work with intention, work with a Sankalpa/Affirmation and insert it in the little breast pocket. Then allow the Light to guide you. |
